Technical Specifications
The DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System for the 1911 Commander 4.25" Bushing Barrel is a direct replacement for the stock recoil rod, requiring no modifications to the pistol. The system uses a multi-spring intricate rod (3 springs) to manage recoil, with a third spring inside the rod to prevent the slide from slamming into the frame.
Unique Features:
- Multi-spring intricate rod with 3 springs to control recoil and improve functionality.
- Includes 2 spring plugs and 3 different external springs for customizable recoil settings.
- The long spring offers a heavier buffer effect, while the short spring provides a lighter buffer.
- Spring plug must always be installed when using the DPM Recoil Rod and springs.
