The DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System for Bul Armory Cherokee FS is a captured version recoil reduction system (Rod Length: 3.8" / 96 mm) that allows easy installation on the frame while assembling the slide. As with all DPM products, this system prioritizes user safety and is manufactured with high-end materials and precision engineering.
This system utilizes a multi-spring intricate rod (3 springs) that acts as a brake on the slide, particularly in the last 6 to 8 mm of movement, reducing the impact on the frame. In some cases, this system provides almost double the force in the slide’s full-open position compared to the factory OEM spring, resulting in softer slide-to-frame contact and reduced recoil.
