The DPM Carbine Buffer captured version is a direct replacement for the stock buffer, requiring no modification for installation.
Recoil reduction is achieved through the patented multi-spring and counterweight mechanism. The system produces advanced recoil reduction by gradually slowing down the bolt carrier before it stops at the bottom of the tube. Compared to the OEM buffer, it provides additional force that prevents violent ramming on the frame.
