Technical Specifications
Meprolight products were originally developed for the Israel Defense Forces and are now used by both the military and police.
TRU-VISION is the latest combat version of the red dot, offering a compact and lightweight design (73 mm x 56 mm x 68 mm) that allows for maximum free space on the weapon for mounting additional accessories. Weighing only 285 grams, it is significantly lighter than other devices in its class.
This device is mounted on a Picatinny rail with the proven QR system (Mil-STD 1913) for quick attachment and detachment. In case of failure, the sight can be removed swiftly, allowing the shooter to transition to mechanical sights.
The 25 mm x 20 mm anti-glare display features a highly visible 2 MOA red reticle for precision aiming. Powered by a CR123 battery, it ensures better performance in cold conditions compared to smaller CR2032-powered optics. The side-mounted battery compartment allows for quick replacement without removing the sight.
The automatic brightness control adjusts the reticle to the surrounding lighting conditions, switching between 12 daytime and 4 night vision-compatible modes. For manual operation, users can select from 16 brightness settings.
