Technical Specifications
The DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System for the Colt 1911 Defender 3" is a direct replacement for the stock recoil rod and does not modify the pistol’s configuration. This system features a multi-spring intricate rod (three springs) designed to control the functionality of the pistol. The third spring, contained within the rod, prevents the slide from slamming into the frame.

- Includes three external springs with varying lengths to customize the recoil system.
- The long spring is heavier, while the short spring is lighter, giving shooters the ability to fine-tune the opening and locking positions of the slide.
- Compatible with Colt 1911 Defender 3", Kimber Ultra Carry II 3" Barrel, and Springfield Ronin & EMP 3" Barrel.
