Technical Specifications
The DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System for Bul Armory Cherokee C is designed for models with a factory guide rod length of 3.0" / 75 mm, providing an upgrade without altering the pistol's configuration.
This system utilizes a multi-spring intricate rod (3 springs), acting as a brake on the slide during the last 6 to 8 mm of movement, preventing excessive frame impact. In some cases, this system provides almost double the force in the slide’s full-open position compared to the factory OEM spring, resulting in softer slide-to-frame contact and reduced recoil.
The system also includes three different external springs, allowing the shooter to fine-tune the weapon's performance. The longer spring (more coils) is stronger and has a higher pound rating than the shorter spring.
