DPM Systems Buffery DPM pro AR-15 / AR-10

DPM Systems buffers replace the stock buffer in the stock tube of AR-15, M16 and AR-10 rifles and 9 mm PCC carbines. Instead of a single rigid weight, a patented multi-spring and counterweight mechanism slows the bolt carrier gradually before it bottoms out. The hard impact on the receiver is gone, muzzle rise is lower and follow-up shots are faster and more accurate.

Adjustable versions (RBA) come with two extra buffer springs, two counterweight springs and a heavier counterweight – the shooter tunes the system to the ammunition (subsonic, standard or hot) while keeping correct bolt locking. The captured version has the springs fixed on a common rod and installs with nothing to set.

All buffers are direct replacements of the factory part, made in Greece (EU) and covered by the manufacturer's lifetime warranty. They are not compatible with braided springs, which must be replaced with the DPM buffer spring.

FAQ

What is the difference between the adjustable (RBA) and captured buffer?
The adjustable buffer lets you change springs and counterweights to suit your ammunition; the captured one has fixed springs on a rod and installs without any setting.
Will it fit my buffer tube?
The 5.56 and captured buffers are for a standard MIL-SPEC carbine tube (82 mm buffer). For a rifle tube or VLTOR 7 use the AR-15-SET adaptor kit; the .308 version works in standard, midsize and long tubes.
Do I need to modify the rifle?
No, all DPM buffers are direct replacements of the stock buffer.
Does it work with a braided spring?
No, a braided spring must be replaced with the DPM buffer spring.
How do I tune the adjustable buffer?
Heavy 70 g counterweight with the longest counterweight spring for standard and hot loads, light 50 g counterweight for soft or subsonic loads. Choose the buffer spring so the bolt locks reliably.
