Magpul Magpul Sling Mounts (ASAP, RSA, Paraclip, QD)
Even the best sling is useless without the right attachment points. Magpul offers a complete system: at the rear of an AR-15 replace the end plate with the ASAP (for hooks) or ASAP QD (for QD swivels); at the front use the RSA / RSA QD on Picatinny or the M-LOK Paraclip Sling Mount / M-LOK QD Sling Mount straight into M-LOK slots.
The lockable Paraclip hook and the MS1 MS3, MS1 MS3 QD and QD Paraclip adapters connect any sling to any attachment type – hooks to sockets and vice versa. All metal parts are QPQ nitride steel, corrosion resistant and made in the USA.

What do I need on an AR-15 for an MS4 sling?
ASAP QD at the rear (or a stock with a QD socket), RSA QD or M-LOK QD Sling Mount at the front.
And for an MS3?
ASAP at the rear, RSA or M-LOK Paraclip Sling Mount at the front; on the SA vz.58/AK the original loops suffice.
I have QD sockets but a hook sling – what now?
The QD Paraclip Adapter (MAG542) clicks into the socket and provides a loop for the hook.
Do I need to stake the castle nut after fitting the ASAP?
Not when properly torqued; Magpul advises against staking due to the hard surface.
