MOHOC

MOHOC – a camera built for a helmet, not a selfie stick

MOHOC is an American company from Seattle, founded in 2014, making cameras for outdoor and military use. Fair Price s.r.o. is the official MOHOC distributor for the Czech Republic and Israel, and we supply IDF units directly. Our feedback comes from people actually wearing them.

What we stock

• MOHOC Standard – colour camera shooting Full HD video. The body is curved to the helmet, sits low and attaches with hook-and-loop, no screws. One button with vibration feedback, usable blind and in gloves. Waterproof and drop-proof without an extra housing.
• MOHOC IR – black-and-white version with an IR lens that captures the visible and near-infrared spectrum: under IR illumination it records what you see in your night vision. It is not an image intensifier – in total darkness without an external IR source it sees nothing.
• Accessories – spare 3.7 V / 1100 mAh Li-ion battery, the Multi-Mount with tripod thread and Picatinny adapter, a shoulder / pack-strap mount, the K9 harness for working dogs and a MOLLE case. Mounts and cases in black and tan.

Who it is for

Primarily armed forces and security contractors who need first-person footage without a box sticking out of the helmet. The IR version goes to units working under night vision; the Standard also suits instructors reviewing training and dog handlers using the K9 harness. Take a spare battery – on a long job you swap in the field rather than recharge.
