Surefire SureFire Scout Light

SureFire Scout Light is the long-gun WeaponLight family developed for US special operations and now the professional standard. Aerospace aluminum bodies with Mil-Spec anodizing, tempered windows, O-ring seals and recoil-proof construction are common to all models – they differ in output, power source and mounting.

M340 (Mini Scout) and M300 run on a single CR123A at around 100 g; M600 and M640 use two CR123A or – in DF (Dual Fuel) versions – the SF18650B rechargeable. U (Ultra) versions deliver 1,000–1,500 lm through a TIR lens, V (Vampire) versions pair white LED with IR for night vision, and DFT (Turbo) versions push 100,000 cd for 600 m+ reach.

Pro models use the Low-Profile Mount with cleats for both Picatinny and M-LOK; classic M600/M300 have the integral M75 Picatinny mount, and M312/M313/M612 ship as kits with the RM45 offset mount and a remote switch. All accept DS00/DSE tailcaps and ST07, SR07, SR07-D-IT, CSP-07 or CSM-07 remote switches.

FAQ

Scout Light vs Scout Light Pro?
Pro has the Low-Profile Mount with swappable Picatinny and M-LOK cleats and adjustable light position; the classic Scout has a fixed M75 Picatinny thumbscrew mount.
What does Dual Fuel (DF) mean?
The light runs on the rechargeable SF18650B (full output, cell included) or 2× CR123A (reduced output) – no changes needed.
Which version for night vision?
V (Vampire) models: M340V, M300V, M600V, M640V, M612V, M313V. Rotate the head to switch from white to 100–120 mW IR.
How do I add a remote switch?
Swap the tailcap for a DS00 (CR123A models) or DSE (Dual Fuel) and plug in ST07, SR07, SR07-D-IT, CSP-07 (Picatinny) or CSM-07 (M-LOK).
Does it fit an AK or vz. 58?
Yes, on any handguard with a Picatinny rail or M-LOK slots (Pro). AK/vz. 58 need a railed handguard.
