Q: Green or red laser?

Green is far more visible by day; red is cheaper. With IR at night the difference is small.

Q: What is the IR illuminator for?

An invisible flood for night vision where there is no ambient light.

Q: Battery?

GR1/IR1/GR2/RD2/GR3: 1× CR123A. GR4/RD4: 2× CR123A or 1× 18650.

Q: Remote switch included?

Yes on all models; GR4/RD4 have a two-channel pad for light and laser.

IRIS is Holosun's new generation of weapon lasers in a hard-anodised 7075 T6 body, IPX8 rated, with a remote cable switch in the box. Screw-clamp Picatinny/Weaver mount, 0.5 MOA clicks, ±50 MOA travel.

GR1 and IR1 are single-beam (520 nm green or invisible IR) at 130 g. GR2 and RD2 pair a visible laser (green/red) with a co-aligned IR laser. GR3 adds a 60 mW VCSEL IR illuminator to light the scene for night vision. GR4 and RD4 are full modules with a 1,000 lm / 25,000 cd white LED, two-channel switch and 2× CR123A or 18650 power.

For long guns – SA vz.58, AR-15, AK 47/74 – and fast tactical shooting.
