A high-quality and extremely durable red dot sight from Aimpoint. The Aimpoint CompM4s™ tube red dot sight is ready for use in the most demanding conditions, offering a 2 MOA red dot and 16 brightness settings, 7 of which are adapted for night vision. This particular version of the CompM4s comes with the innovative QRP2 quick-release mount - which can easily be clamped onto standard rails such as Picatinny by turning the lock - and a standard spacer.
 

Sights from the Aimpoint CompM4s series have become very popular with the U.S. Armed Forces, where this series has been used for more than two decades as the standard close-quarters combat sight. Under the name M68 CCO (Close Combat Optic), over 100,000 CompM4-series sights are in use with the U.S. Armed Forces today.

QRP2 MOUNT

This version of the CompM4s is equipped with a standard spacer and the innovative QRP2 mount, which can be quickly and easily attached to mounting rails such as a Picatinny rail. By quickly loosening the same screw used for clamping, the Aimpoint CompM4s can be removed from the rail just as easily.

SIGHT HOUSING

The robust housing of the CompM4s is made of anodized, extremely durable aluminum alloy with a black, semi-matte finish. The housing thus provides more than optimal protection for the sight's complete optical system and all the electronics inside. Thanks to this, the CompM4s is submersible to a depth of 45 meters.

The 2 MOA Aimpoint CompM4s does not magnify the image by itself. If needed, however, it is perfectly compatible with, for example, the Aimpoint 3xMag-1™ magnifier, or with all generations of night vision devices (NVD).

RED DOT AND OPTICAL SYSTEM

The 2 MOA red dot of the Aimpoint CompM4s is powered by a single AA battery, with which the CompM4s can provide up to 80,000 hours (8 years) of continuous operation, or up to 500,000 hours in night-vision mode.

The optical system of the Aimpoint CompM4s is designed to deliver the highest possible image clarity, even in full combat use. The complete system has an anti-reflective coating, and the front lens of the sight is additionally fitted with the innovative killFlash® ARD anti-reflection device, which prevents light glinting off the sight in the heat of battle – something that can be invaluable in combat conditions.
