The DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System for the Ruger SR 9 & 40 Compact is a direct replacement for the stock recoil rod and does not require any modification to the pistol’s configuration. This system uses a multi-spring intricate rod (3 springs) to effectively control the recoil and prevent the slide from ramming into the frame.
