Streamlight, Inc. has introduced a significant functional upgrade of the successful TLR-1 model, which in its new version designated TLR-1 HL-X USB (or TLR-1 HL-X) offers what was first made possible with the TLR-7, namely the use of rechargeable batteries. But that is not all!

1) The switches have been fundamentally redesigned: they are now separate, fully ambidextrous (right/left) and also come in two lengths. The momentary/constant-on function is of course retained.

2) Another new feature is the ability to change the batteries without removing the light from the weapon.

3) The light has a higher output of 1500 lumens

4)TLR-1 HL-X designates the light powered by CR123A batteries and TLR-1 HL-X USB the version powered by 2 x SL-B9 Li-ion rechargeable batteries.

TLR1 HL-X - is a tactical rail-mounted LED weapon light, now with an output of 1,500 lm and an integrated mount for attachment to pistols with a rail or to a Picatinny rail (Glock and MIL-STD-1913). The TLR1 HL-X also has a strobe mode that can be disabled. The light withstands the recoil of various calibres and is overall mechanically very rugged. Interchangeable rail keys for Glock, Picatinny, Beretta 90two, S&W 99 and S&W TSW are included.
